18/8/2025. welcome to for the light! my name's dana and this is my blog.

my aim in life is to create, to be a creative, to change the world. but often i don't have any motivation. sometimes i start projects, but shortly after starting, feel empty and ask myself "why?". i could never come up with an answer good enough for myself, and give myself enough motivation to seriously and passionately create. but the other day, surrounded by people i love, the sun's rays gently bathing the world around us, i felt happy and content. the answer to the question blinded me.

so what can you expect from my silly little blog?

i dabble in many different forms of art, which i aim to post about!

• i'm a traditional artist, i especially love making zines and printing.
• i write, mostly poetry at the moment, but i am working on a novel and aim to write for the screen as well.
• i take photographs occasionally! the background image is one such example.
• i dabble slightly in film making!

of course i will post my thoughts and other random things i do!
